Lily Troia

Lily Cristina Troia is the Dean's Fellow for Digital Media Outreach at Simmons College where she is pursuing her MLIS with an archives concentration. She serves on the Acquisitions & Appraisal Section of SAA as Social Media Intern, is Social Media Consultant to the Journal of Contemporary Archival Studies out of Yale University, and is a member of the New England Archivist's Education Committee. Ms. Troia is also a recent recipient of NEA's Richard W. Hale, Jr. Professional Development Award, and has been accepted as a student paper presenter for this summer's annual SAA conference in Cleveland, Archives 2015. This summer she will begin an internship at WGBH in Boston working on the American Archive of Public Broadcasting, a partnership project with the Library of Congress.

Kiron Johnson

Kiron Johnson is currently a student in Masters of Library and Information Science program focusing on Archival Administration and Digital Content Management at Wayne State University (WSU) in Detroit, Michigan. She is the recipient of the Margery A. Long Scholarship for Archival Administration and the Graduate-Professional Scholarship at WSU. Ms. Johnson has served as the secretary of Future Librarians for Inclusivity and Diversity. She is also a member of WSU’s chapter of the National Digital Stewardship Alliance and the Society of American Archivists. Currently, Ms. Johnson is the News Archives and Digital Asset Management Intern at Quicken Loans/Rock Ventures. She holds a B.A. and M.Phil in History from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and New York University, respectively. Ms. Johnson has taught history courses at a number of colleges and universities in the New York area, including New York University and City University of New York's Hunter College.

Pedro Gonzalez-Fernandez

Pedro Gonzalez-Fernandez is currently pursuing a MLS with a digital curation focus at University of Maryland’s iSchool. He also holds an MA in music history and literature from University of Maryland. His musical research interests include music and the moving image (film, television, and video games), popular music, and electronic music. He works as a Project Archivist at University of Maryland’s Special Collections in the Performing Arts and has volunteered at nearby cultural heritage institutions, such as the United States Marine Band Library. Mr. Gonzalez-Fernandez is the recipient of Beta Phi Mu’s Sarah Rebecca Reed Scholarship and is a former Junior Fellow at the Library of Congress.
